Vaccinations at info centre

SWAN Hill’s immunisation schedule will have a new look next year, with sessions held at a new location.

Immunisations will be now be carried out on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings at Swan Hill Information Centre/Senior Citizens Centre at 125 Curlewis Street.

Swan Hill Rural City Council public health and regulatory services coordinator Kelsey Corrie said the new venue was central and easily accessible.

“We aim to ensure our schedule is accessible and flexible so that individuals and families can find a suitable time to receive important vaccines,” she said.

Ms Corrie said there had also been changes to the process for booking appointments online.

“We have partnered with Central Immunisation Records Victoria, to streamline the booking process,” she said.

“Residents just need to sign up to the Department of Health’s Central Immunisation Records Victoria and select an immunisation provider from the list to search for an available appointment.”

For more information about the changes in immunisations, please call 5036 2591 or visit: https://www.swanhill.vic.gov.au/community/health/immunisations.
