Free heart tests in Swan Hill

FREE heart screen tests will be available today and tomorrow at the Swan Hill Aquatic & Recreation Centre from 9am to 4pm, part of efforts to prevent cardiovascular risk in the community.

Swan Hill is the latest stop for the Shane Warne Legacy heart screen team, who are touring and visiting communities in the Mallee region.

They will be providing a free assessment of heart health through their non-invasive screening.

Shane Warne Legacy was launched by the former leg spin Australian cricketer’s family after he died suddenly of a heart attack aged 52 while on holiday in Thailand in March 2022.

For people who cannot make it to the van, there will still be free tests and screening available at Priceline Pharmacy Swan Hill.

The pharmacy also has a permanent SiSU Health Station which can monitor blood pressure, body fat percentage, weight and BMI, and requires no appointment to use.
