Group 2 cup run for Saint

Swan Hill’s newest star pacer Torrid Saint will once again be looking to put his name in lights this weekend, when he contests the Group 2 Flying Brick Cider Geelong Pacing Cup on Saturday night.

Torrid Saint, which is owned and bred by Swan Hill’s Noel Watson and trained by Glenn Douglas in Bendigo, drew gate two for the race and will once again be competing against some of Australasia’s best pacers, including Auckland Cup winner Amazing Dream, Group 1 winner Mach Dan and the Andy Gath trained Tango Tara. Torrid Saint ran a respectable sixth in the prestigious Victoria Cup in his last run at Bendigo on October 9th.
