WHILST pottering in my garden this morning, I pondered on the time my husband and I made the decision to sell our home and move into a unit at Swan Hill Retirement Village 11 years ago, when my husband first become ill with cancer.
We both wanted a secure home for his final years and for me the security of like-minded people of my age.
We have activities to suit our age and the freedom of independent living.
Our decision to move here was and still is the best thing we have ever done.
I couldn’t be happier in my twilight years.
