READING the update on the Swan Hill train service, Swan Hill is lucky to have a train service, not like the people of Mildura.
All they have is a rough bus service to Bendigo.
As a disabled senior, I can tell it’s rough by the bad spine pain I get.
This bus service is a disgrace.
An old dray would be better.
I have sent many letters to the MPs but they don’t care about old and disabled – all they care about is their pay and to hell with the rest.
Just think about the people on the Mildura to Melbourne line: only rough buses and long drives on the road at night.
Over 75 years ago I travelled on the steam train service to Swan Hill and Mildura.
They were the best, not like now.
What it needs is the people to demand a better train service.
If not, turf out the government.
