Sea Lake-Nandaly 2023 Netball Preview

SEA Lake-Nandaly A Grade coach Ebony Triplett is looking forward to what she hopes will be another well-rounded and competitive season.

“This year we are hoping to continue developing a great culture within our netball club,” Tripplet said.

“It will be a great year for development and we are seeing some players having to step up this season, which we have been really impressed with.”

The Tigers are coming off the back of a strong 2022 season, with A Grade making it to the preliminary final and C Grade premiers.

“It was a very competitive year around the board and our girls put in a lot of effort to get there,” Tripplet said.

There will be a few slight changes to the Tigers’ line-up this season, with Krisy McInnes set to join the A Grade squad.

“We have had girls putting in a lot of effort this pre-season who we are excited to see either play their first A grade games or return to playing A grade again,” Tripplet said.

Tripplet will be coaching the Tigers’ A Grade team alongside Rebecca Delmenico, while Ash Wright and Chevaun Wight will coach B Grade, and Jordan Gravestocks and Jess Cova will coach C Grade.

PLAYER TO WATCH

Tripplet believes versatile defender Maya Arentz will be a player to keep an eye on this season. “She is a spirited teammate who continues to develop into a motivated and determined netballer,” she said.
