Balranald shooters looking strong

BALRANALD now have two wins from two games for 2022, churning out a convincing win over Cohuna on the weekend, 68-37.

Cohuna’s Keely Wilson was up against Balranald’s experienced shooters Jess Parry and Ella Mirtschin, but she worked super-hard throughout the game and was able to take some amazing intercepts to keep the Roos on their toes. However, it wasn’t enough to stop the dynamic shooting duo, with Mirtschin really on her game and barely missing a shot, shooting 54 goals of Balranald’s total of 68.

Despite the loss, the Kangas had only one disappointing quarter in the second term, but weren’t far off the mark for the rest of the game.

The Kangas take on Woorinen over the Easter weekend, while Balranald have a couple of weeks’ break.Final Whistle
