Carlee Hazlett – 2022 19 & Under Distinction award winner

Tooleybuc-Manangatang Football Netball Club’s Carlee Hazlett has been awarded the Central Murray Football Netball League’s 19 & Under Netball Distinction Award for 2022.

Carlee has been an integral member of the Tooleybuc-Manangatang A Grade team for several years, this year playing goal attack after playing many other positions over the years. She is a highly skilful and competitive player, who has the ability to play with great strength and at a high intensity and she brings more than her on-court contribution to the club.

According to club netball co-ordinator Leonie Kentish, Carlee is also an accomplished badged umpire and is also committed to supporting the development of junior players at the club.

Over the years, Carlee has represented the Tooleybuc-Manangatang Football Netball Club numerous times at a league and regional level. From 2016 until 2019, Carlee has been a key member of the CMFNL interleague team, as well as representing the League in the Murray Region Team in 2018 and 2019.

Carlee is a decorated netballer, winning Club Best & Fairest awards in her age group between 2016 and 2019 and has also been awarded the League Best & Fairest Runner-Up in 2017 and 2019. Carlee has also been selected for a number of academy squads over the years, including the Northern Zone Talent Academy Squad, highlighting her natural talent and flair for the sport.
