COACH – Jess Parry GS – Kellie Walker GA – Jess Parry WA – Kelsey McCoy C – Alicia Harvey WD – Emma Peacock GD – Jemma Meehan GK – Madeleine Nalder BENCH – Sarah Hepburn, Keely Wilson, Tess Demaria, Demi Wall, Anna Archie

Coach

Jess Parry

Has a brain for netball, with her extensive knowledge and passion for the game making her one of the best coaches in the league, guiding her own Balranald side to the grand final.

Goal shooter

Kellie Walker

Awarded CMFNL’s most valuable player for 2022, Kellie Walker is a powerhouse in the ring. Her holding style of play combined with her height and shooting accuracy keeps even the most talented of defenders on their toes as they struggle to find a way to stop her.

Goal attack

Jess Parry

There is a reason that Jess Parry was awarded joint best and fairest for 2022. You never see her standing still on the court, and she is a very smart player in regards to her leads and positioning, particularly within the ring. It is also rare to see Parry miss a shot for goal.

Wing attack

Kelsey McCoy

Has been a consistent player for Swan Hill all season. While not overly tall, she is fast and agile, quick off the line for the centre pass and able to position herself perfectly on the ring to get the ball to her shooters.

Centre

Alicia Harvey

The textbook definition of a pocket rocket. Winning the Mallee Eagles A Grade best and fairest this year, Harvey is everywhere you need her to be all the way down the court, and as the ability to change from defence to attack at a moment’s notice.

Wing defence

Emma Peacock

Consistent and reliable is what Emma Peacock has been throughout the 2022 season. She applies a lot of defensive pressure, but also has the ability to change to attack and help work the ball back down to her goal third.

Goal defence

Jemma Meehan

A gun in defence. While she works hard for intercepts and rebounds to turn ball over, she also follows through offensively, always helping the midcourt to get the ball back down the court.

Goal keeper

Madeleine Nalder

Winning joint A Grade best and fairest alongside Jess Parry, Nalder has proven her strength and skill in the competition this season. Nalder sticks to her shooters like glue, and her determination and hunger for the ball often finds her with any loose balls or rebound most of the time.

Bench

Sarah Hepburn

Has been one of strongest shooters in the league throughout the season. She has the ability to play both a holding style of netball as well as roving, adapting to her defenders.

Keely Wilson

A standout for her side during the season as a defender, going for every loose ball or rebound she could get her hands on.

Tess Demaria

Defensive abilities are second-to-none, with her energetic style of play constantly keeping her opponents on their toes.

Demi Wall

A strong midcourt player. She is quick off the line, and has a great connection with her shooters to get the ball into the ring.

Anna Archie

As Lake Boga’s A Grade playing coach this season, Archie is not only a solid centre-position player, but also brings a level of maturity and experience to the game that often has a great impact on the rest of her team.
