THE youngest competitors to take the court on grand final day did not disappoint spectators, with Woorinen earning the premiership title in a hard-fought match.
While the Dogs led by two goals at the first break, the Tigers clawed their way back to put themselves five goals up going into the last quarter.
A combination of the weather conditions and the Tigers’ incredible defensive pressure meant the Dogs couldn’t score a single goal in the last quarter, with Woorinen winning the game by 10 points.
Woorinen shooter Willow Conlan was named best on court for her effort and accuracy throughout the match.
