SWAN Hill got one final win on the board for the 2023 season, beating Balranald by 20 goals.
The Swans were able to get an early jump over the Roos and maintain control throughout the match.
Swans shooting duo Ingrid Condely and Zoe Morris combined well at the post against the defensive pressure of Elli Brougham and Hannah Morton.
Swans coach Madeleine Nalder said her team all worked well to beat the reigning premiers.
“Balranald are a quality team and we needed to execute well,” she said.
“We were looking forward to the challenge of playing them leading into finals.”
The Swans will go head-to-head with Woorinen in the qualifying final at Lalbert on Saturday, while Balranald will take on the Mallee Eagles in the elimination final on Sunday at the Swan Hill Showgrounds.
