Award for leader

BALRANALD’S Bree Hodgson is an extremely talented and skilled netballer, in no-small part due to being very coachable and having an amazingly resilient attitude.

Her club says the 19 & Under Distinction Award recipient always gives 110 per cent, whether at training or on game day.

Hodgson shows a high level of commitment towards her Balranald Football Netball Club and towards her teammates and provides a contribution at many levels.

She is extremely positive and encouraging to those around her, and provides thoughtful direction and reassurance on the court, displaying leadership and being a role model for junior netballers to look up to.

Hodgson has an engaging and bubbly personality, and although Bree has achieved things well beyond her years in her netball career, she remains very modest and continues to work hard to improve on areas where she can.

Hodgson is quick to put up her hand and step in to fill a job or role wherever it may be needed, and is well respected and appreciated by her coaches, teammates and peers at the club.
