Blues blitz from the start

KERANG will go into their highly anticipated match against the Mallee Eagles in a fortnight’s time unbeaten, after thrashing Nyah-Nyah West United by 38-goals on the weekend.

The Blues moved a game clear of the Eagles to outright first on the Central Murray A grade ladder following Saturday’s commanding 66-28 win.

Kerang dominated from the outset, with the home side outscoring the Demons 18-6 in the first term to take control of the contest.

It didn’t get much better for NNW United, with the Blues extending their lead each quarter on the way to recording their highest score for the season.

Denise Roberts (38 goals) and Katelyn Wright (28 goals) worked hard in goals for Kerang, while Mikala McNeill and Madison Hall were also in the Blues better players.

Final Whistle

Kerang 66
