TODAY has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban in the Mallee.With a maximum temperature of 39 degrees and the chance of a thunderstorm late this evening, the Country Fire Authority has rated the fire danger as severe.No fires can be lit or are allowed to remain alight in the open air from from until 11.59 tonight.
