A GROUP of 32 students from the University of Melbourne swapped the classroom for the field this month to learn first-hand about river basin management.

Mallee Regional Innovation Centre hosted a site visit as part of the students' week-long regional tour, which included stops in Swan Hill, Mildura, Robinvale, Tatura and Shepparton.
