Grain Shed

WHAT a strange weather pattern we are experiencing of late.

Fortunately the rain is holding off, giving some reprieve to our farmers who have crops to harvest and those living along the Murray around Swan Hill.

Be encouraged to pray for our local communities and businesses, all our farmers and their families, and all those who have come in to help with flood management, emergency service workers and volunteers.

We are extremely grateful and appreciate all that is done and understand that many are away from their homes and families.

Tonight our Grain Shed youth meet at 7pm with “escape room”, sure to be lots of fun.

We love baptisms and this Sunday we will be celebrating one as part of our service starting 10am. All are welcome and stay around after in fellowship over a lovely cuppa and bite to eat.

Grain Shed Kids are on, so we look forward to seeing you all there and remember, next week on December 4 is “jingle jam” Sunday.

Our Grain Shed Kids are working hard at preparing a special service for you all, so get ready and why not invite some friends to come along, as this will be a very fun time followed by some fun activities and a barbecue.

Monday will be mainly music’s last session for 2022. A 10am start followed by lots of end-of-year treats to be shared by all.

A big thank you to all the families and our mainly music team who have made this such a wonderful year.

Wednesday at 2pm, Pastor La’Mont holds a church bible study which is open to all.

Thursday our craft ladies meet at 10am.

There is still time to pick up empty Christmas hamper bags and bring them back filled.

Over the past couple of years our hamper operation has continued to grow and has been extremely beneficial to those in need in the community, especially over this time.

‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ 2 Corinthians 9:7
