Church Notes

Anglican

WE thank God for the wonderful rain we had last weekend.

Despite the rain, we had a successful boot sale so thank you to those who attended or supported this monthly event.

We also gladly welcomed back Rev Denis, who conducted his first service after several weeks of sick leave.

This Sunday we welcome Rev Wayne Dorney and his wife, Helen, to our parish.

Wayne has the role of locum here and support for Kerang.

They will be with us part-time for 10 weeks and we are looking forward to Wayne’s ministry and getting to know both he and Helen.

Grain Shed

THIS Sunday at 10am come along, invite a friend to our Sunday service with Pastor La’Mont sharing.

Join us afterwards over a drink and bite to eat in fellowship.

On Saturday, April 29 is a fundraiser for Hampers of Hope. A French cooking class, 10am to 2.30pm.

Come along, have fun preparing and then sit down and eat like the French with a typical French meal.

Contact Robyn at reception on 5032 9449 to book your place, $80 per person (all ingredients and recipes are supplied).

Our Grainshed kids program returns Sunday, April 30.

Mainly music starts Term 2 on Monday, May 1 at 10am.
