Church Notes

Anglican

LAST week at our Biggest Morning Tea, we heard from Helen Dorning, our locum’s wife, about her double cancer journey.

Helen focused on her survivor journey, her positive attitude shining through.

Helen has participated in five international dragon boat meets, bringing enormous joy and connections to a worldwide community.

From the morning’s activities, we raised $362 for cancer projects. Thank you to all.

Our Synod reps were in Bendigo learning about outreach programs, ministry to many marginalised groups such as migrants, homeless people, and victims of family violence, insurance and governance.

The high-quality experience and faith of the people who manage all aspects of our diocese were clearly evident, and endorsed by outside agencies. We thank God for these people and their work.

Parish council will be held on Monday evening.

Early notice is given here for the next service to be held in Ultima on June 9.
