Church notes, March 8

Grain Shed

THIS year really has taken off with Easter only two weeks away and then this Labour Day long weekend.

Many people will be travelling so let us pray for all those on the road that their travels are safe, that they have fun times and some time to relax and enjoy.

It is a time also for farmers to start preparing for this year’s crops tying in with pastor Shayne’s last message “Grow” from John 15:2.

“He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”

Tonight at 7pm, our youth meet, two hours connecting, playing games, eating, of course, and most importantly, delving deeper into knowing more about Jesus and their relationship with Him.

Sunday at 10am our service begins. Pastor Shayne is coming to the platform with a new series so come along, invite a friend or friends and stay around afterwards in fellowship over a drink and a bite to eat.

Grain Shed Kids also start promptly at 10am with the check-in desk open from 9.40am.

There is no Mainly Music on Monday. Our final session for Term 2 is Monday, March 25, with Easter party time.

Craft ladies meet every Thursday, 10am-noon.
