Shop staff assaulted after refund demand

A MAN who demanded a refund at the Swan Hill Cheap As Chips store is believed to have assaulted staff.

He was at the store about 1pm on October 17.Cash grab

A $50 note was stolen from a self-checkout cash dispenser at Coles Supermarkets in Swan Hill on October 13.

The man took the money about 9am.Dog scam

POLICE are investigating a potential dog sale scam.

Swan Hill police Senior Constable Travis Collier said a person in Robinvale paid a deposit to buy a French bulldog puppy though a social media website, but never got the dog.

Investigations were continuing.Tool, laptop stolen

A CHAINSAW and laptop have been taken from a business on Cumming Avenue in Birchip.

Offenders are believed to have broken into the building between 4am and 5am on October 16.
