Video footage released of missing Roos player

QUEENSLAND Police Service have released video footage of missing Balranald football player Jeremiah ‘Jayo’ Rivers.

The 27-year-old Aboriginal man was last seen near Wilsons River, around 20 kilometres south of Noccundra in south-west Queensland at 9.30am on October 18.

The vision was captured at a Keraro Road service station at White Cliffs in New South Wales the day before at 10.45am on Sunday, October 17.

In the footage he can be seen wearing a red shirt with logo on the front and long black pants, but was not wearing shoes.

Mr Rivers was returning to home in Darwin, after his football season in Balranald, when he went missing.

Mr Rivers was camping with friends in south-west Queensland when he failed to return to the group after he went for a walk.

Queensland Police Service (QPS) have extensively searched for Mr Rivers on foot, from the air and in the water.

Mr Rivers has black hair, is approximately 185cm tall, with a slim build and has a tattoo of a cross under his right arm.

He was last seen wearing a red Chicago Bulls singlet, red Adidas sneakers and black jeans.

QPS first made an appeal on October 20 to locate the 27-year-old man.
