Woman dies in Balranald truck crash

A WOMAN died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash near Balranald last Thursday.

Emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway, about 35km north of Euston Prungle Road, Euston, about 1.30pm following reports a truck with a car carrier trailer combination had left the roadway and rolled.

The 47-year-old woman was the driver.

One CFA fire truck, one forward command vehicle and Robinvale Fire Brigade volunteers responded to this incident, along with VICSES.

Euston police established a crime scene.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has been launched and a report was being prepared for the coroner.
