Vehicle stolen, not once, but twice

POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a previously stolen vehicle in Robinvale.

It’s believed between December 3 and 16 a previously stolen vehicle was located in River Grove, Robinvale, before it was re-stolen before the owner had the opportunity to collect it.

Homes targeted

PERSONAL items were allegedly stolen from homes in Bannerton early this month.

Between December 5 and 11, offenders gained entry to several home in Fitzgerald Road, Bannerton.

Numerous items, including tools, clothing and a boat, were stolen.

Linked thefts

POLICE are seeking information after alleged thefts and damage occurred at two Swan Hill businesses at the weekend.

Offenders cut a hole in the boundary fence to gain entry to a trailer manufacturing business in Karinie Street before removing a box trailer and attaching it to their vehicle.

It’s believed the same offenders then drove to a business in Quin Drive, Swan Hill, where they have again cut a hole in the fence to gain access and steal a Spitwater pressure washer.

About 1.40am on Sunday, police located the offenders’ vehicle on Sea Lake-Swan Hill Road which had been set alight and destroyed.

Windows damaged

WINDOWS at a Swan Hill business were allegedly damaged last week.

The incident, at the northern end of Campbell Street, happened between December 10 and 16.

Drug possession

A TEEN has been spoken to after allegedly being in possession of a drug of dependence.

Shortly after 2am on December 18, police spoke to an 18-year-old male in Campbell Street, Swan Hill.

He was found in possession of a drug of dependence.

He was arrested, charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Damaged trees

POLICE are investigating after trees were allegedly damaged in Swan Hill.

Officers said between 5pm on December 10 and 9am on December 13, offenders damaged trees near the intersection of Campbell and Burke streets in Swan Hill.

Scammed cash

AN elderly person has allegedly been scammed of $5000.

Swan Hill police said on December 10, the victim was scammed out of depositing the cash into a nominated bank account.

The offenders made several phone calls to the victim persuading her to transfer the cash.

Boat damaged by fire

A BOAT was extensively damaged after it caught fire in Swan Hill last week.

The victim was towing his boat in Swan Hill on December 12.

He was alerted by a passer-by that there was smoke coming from the boat.

The driver got out to find the boat on fire.

The boat was extensively damaged as was the rear of the vehicle.
