Homes damaged

SEVERAL homes were allegedly damaged across two Swan Hill streets on New Year’s Day.

Swan Hill police said between 4am and 6am on January 1, several homes and a vehicle sustained damage in Fulford Court and Makepeace Street.

Damage included broken windows and damaged mailboxes.

Vehicle stolen

A SWAN Hill man has been charged after allegedly stealing a vehicle.

Keys were taken to a vehicle during a burglary at Chapman Street, Swan Hill, property on December 29.

The vehicle was stolen and located in Kerang later the same day.

A 44-year-old man, from Swan Hill, was arrested with the vehicle in Kerang.

He was charged and bailed to attend court at a late date.
