The occupant had started a fire in his backyard to burn rubbish.

This was in contravention to fire restrictions.

He will receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.

The incident happened between 9pm and 11pm on January 30, when offenders attended a home in Miles Court, Swan Hill.

They caused damage and attempted to gain entry.

TYRES of a car were allegedly slashed while parked outside a Swan Hill property.

The vehicle was parked on the nature strip in Chapman Street on January 27.

It appeared that two tyres were slashed/stabbed.
