HOMICIDE detectives arrested a man and a woman in Albury on Monday following the death of a man in Manangatang near Swan Hill last Wednesday.
Detectives arrested a 41-year-old West Albury man and a 36-year-old West Albury woman with the assistance of NSW Police.
Both will be interviewed by homicide detectives.
Emergency services were called to a Wattle Street, Managatang address about 9.15pm last Wednesday after reports of a stabbing.
Police and paramedics worked on a 58-year-old man found with critical injuries, but he died at the scene.
He was later identified by friends as Dave Gaskell, a cancer survivor and seasonal worker.
