Theft victim sees his bike on street

Stolen bike spotted by victim

A FOLD-up bicycle was stolen from in front of a Campbell Street, Swan Hill, business on April 5.

A couple of days later, the theft victim saw a person riding his stolen bike and called the police.

The bike was returned to the owner and the 22-year-old rider was arrested.

Drug find

POLICE were called to a man acting suspiciously on Beveridge Street, Swan Hill, about 4.30pm on April 6. The 35-year-old was found in possession of what was believed to be GHB.

Ice rider

POLICE observed a 45-year-old man riding a bicycle in the middle of the road with no light and no helmet about 8.30pm on Saturday. He was found to have methylamphetamine and was taken for interview. He was expected to appear in court on summons.

Arrest over shop thefts

A 51-YEAR-old man stole items from a Swan Hill shop about 1.20pm last Thursday. He was arrested the following day and remanded in custody.

Number plates stolen

FRONT and rear registration plates were stolen form a car parked on Stradbroke Avenue in Nyah between 8pm on Saturday and 9am next day.
