Fuel drive-off
A MAN has driven off before paying for his fuel after filling up his vehicle at a Nyah fuel station at 6.45pm on June 11. The vehicle was later located on McBain Street in Swan Hill. Investigations are continuing to identify the driver.
Screamer detained
AT 10pm on June 9, police attended a Birdwood Avenue address in Nyah where a man was found screaming outside his residence. On arrival, police were threatened and told to stay away. They eventually talked the man down before taking him to Swan Hill hospital for assessment. Police found illegal drugs and two flick hunting knives in the man’s possession. He has been interviewed and charged with various offences
Fence damaged
A TIN panel boundary fence on Anniversary Drive in Robinvale has had about $800 worth of damage inflicted on it when someone kicked it after 8pm on June 11. Anyone with information is urged to contact Robinvale Police.
Thief targets home
A SMALL amount of personal property has been stolen from a Carrington Street address in Robinvale after someone gained entry via a rear door in June 10 between 6am and 7pm.
Thief harvests cash, wheat
FOUR bags of wheat and cash has been stolen from a road side stall near Swan Hill. At 9.30am on June 8, a man stopped at the stall, which works on the basis on an honesty system. The man took four bags of wheat and stole money that others had left for their purchases. The incident was captured on CCTV, and the vehicle details have been supplied to police.
Robber arrested
AROUND 5.45pm on June 10, two TAB workers were walking east along Gray Street in Swan Hill after finishing work for the day when a man assaulted one of them, stealing their bags and running off. Witnesses observed where the offender ran to, and he was arrested by police a short time later before he was taken to the Swan Hill Police Station and remanded in custody.
Saints to sinners
A MAN allowed a number of people into his Swan Hill residence to clean up while he was unwell earlier in June, but they have instead stolen some property from his yard. Police know the identities of the offenders.
Bad language
A WOMAN was issued with a penalty notice after using obscene language at a local public transport hub on June 7.
Bra thief
ON June 9 at 3.40pm, two young people have entered a Swan Hill retail outlet where one of the women stole a bra. The woman has been identified and will be located and interviewed by police.A BRICK wall of a Swan Hill bank has been damaged after a young man used a marker or similar thing to graffiti it. He is currently being identified via CCTV.
