Two men injured in violent Lake Boga brawl

A TEENAGER has been arrested over an alleged assault at a Lake Boga venue that left two men in hospital with injuries.

Emergency services were called to Marraboor Street around 9.50pm on Tuesday, following reports of an assault.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers arrived to find two men allegedly injured by a third person who was armed with a weapon.

Both men were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said one of the men, aged in his 20s, was taken to Swan Hill District Hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.

An 18-year-old Swan Hill man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.

It’s understood the men were not known to each other prior to the alleged assault.
