Man brandishes utensil

A MAN exposed himself to police amid concerns he was in possession of a knife.

Police were called to Campbell Street, Swan Hill about 12.30pm on August 19 after the public had concerns the man was in possession of a knife.

Police spoke to a 41-year-old male who lowered his pants and exposed himself to the police officers in full view of the public.

He continued to use offensive language towards the officers.

The item in question was not a weapon but a large utensil concealed in a knife scabbard.

He is expected to appear in court on summons at a later date.Elephant’s unexpected safariAN ornament was allegedly stolen from a Lake Boga community garden last week.

A navy blue ceramic elephant was taken from the garden some time between 5pm on August 13 and 1pm the following day.

Business break-in

OFFENDERS forced entry to a Lake Boga business last week.

The incident happened some time between 3.30pm on August 1 and 7.30am the following day. Burnout mishap

A VEHICLE caught fire less than an hour after its purchase following a burnout mishap.

Police said that at 8pm on August 20, a vehicle was heard attempting to do a burnout in a residential street in Swan Hill.

The motor overheated and melted the plastic engine cover, causing a small fire.

The occupants of the vehicle had purchased the vehicle in the previous hour.Offenders target buildings

MULTIPLE buildings were targeted by offenders in Robinvale earlier this month.

Police said sometime between August 10 and 14, offenders forced entry to the buildings on a property in Fitzgerald Road, Robinvale.

It’s unknown if any items were taken.

Thieves raid utes

ITEMS from utility vehicles were stolen from a Wemen property.

A MAN was arrested after forcing his way into a Robinvale property armed with a knife last weekend.

The 24-year-old attended the George Street home about 12 noon on August 21.

He was arrested a short time later without incident and was remanded in custody.
