Billboard disappearance

MEMBER for Mildura Ali Cupper’s election billboard was allegedly stolen from the side of a building in Robinvale.

The sign was taken between November 4 and 11 in Bromley Road.

Wallet goes missing

A WALLET was allegedly stolen from a vehicle parked in Piangil earlier this month.

The wallet went missing from the vehicle in farmland off Hayward Road, some time between 3am and noon on November 12.

Swan Hill drug charge

A SYDNEY woman has been charged with drug possession after being caught in Swan Hill.

Police intercepted a vehicle in Campbell Street about 1am on Monday.

The driver, 47, was allegedly found in possession of cannabis and methylamphetamine.

She was charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Man off to court

A MAN will have a date in court after allegedly being found to have outstanding warrants.

Police spoke to a 46-year-old man in Campbell Street shortly before noon on Wednesday last week.

He was found to have outstanding warrants.

A search of his bag found what is alleged to be methylamphetamine, while police said they also found a card in the name of another person.

After contacting that person, police also charged the man with theft.

He was charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Cross-border flee

ALLEGED offenders fled on foot after being captured in a stolen four-wheel-drive in Sea Lake.

Police alleged a silver Ford Wildtrack was stolen from outside an address in Horace Street, Sea Lake on Tuesday last week.

Two days later, South Australian police used stop sticks to try and intercept the vehicle.

They were deployed successfully, but the alleged offenders decamped from the vehicle and are yet to be apprehended.
