Bus driver abused

A BUS driver was verbally abused by a passenger north of Swan Hill, police say.

It was alleged the passenger became abusive and threatening towards the driver about 9.20pm on January 27.

When he disembarked from the bus at Wood Wood, the man threw an object at the bus smashing a window, police said.

Days later, a 52-year-old male was arrested, charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.


Vehicle theft

A MELBOUNE man was arrested in Sea Lake after allegedly stealing a vehicle.

The 32-year-old was found by police on January 23 after allegedly committing the theft in Melbourne.

He was also wanted on five outstanding warrants to arrest and was remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.


Ute missing

POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a utility in Swan Hill.

A white Holden Commodore was stolen from a Palaroo Street, Swan Hill address about 1am on February 6, police said.
