Duo nabbed drug driving

TWO people were driving a mobility scooter while “heavily” affected by illicit substances, police say.

The duo were stopped by police and searched on Murlong Street at about 2am on July 10.

A woman was found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis.

She was arrested and taken to Swan Hill police station for processing.

Court date for man

A MAN will appear in court after being found in possession of prescription drugs.

Police observed the male walking along Yana Street at about 10.30pm on July 6.

Checks revealed he was wanted for forensic identification and a small quantity of prescription drugs were located on him.

He will be summoned to court after he was unable to supply a prescription for the medication.

Supermarket theft

NSW Police have arrested a man wanted over theft from a Robinvale supermarket.

The offender allegedly stole four ice creams from the Latje Road store at about 5pm on July 7.

It is alleged that he was verbally aggressive towards a staff member when confronted.

The offender was identified and arrested in NSW for other offences.

Police said he would be interviewed for Victorian offences when he returned to Victoria.
