Venue assault

POLICE say they are hunting a patron who assaulted an employee at a licensed venue in Swan Hill.

The male was approached after being suspected of being under the age of 18 playing a pokies machine last Friday.

Police said the alleged offender produced an unacceptable form of ID, before he became agitated and assaulted the victim.

He was yet to be identified.


Vehicle stolen

A UTE was stolen from a Robinvale supermarket carpark last week.

The victim parked at IGA about 2.45pm on Wednesday last week before noticing the vehicle missing about 9pm.

The ute was later found on Sturt Highway near Euston.

With no keys left in the vehicle, police were determining how the vehicle was started.

CCTV footage showed a silver Colorado ute pull up beside the stolen vehicle before a male wearing an orange jumper got out and into the stolen vehicle.


Knives in bag

A MALE was found carrying two knives in a bag when entering the Swan Hill court, police say.

He was arrested and taken to Swan Hill police station.


Drugs found

DRUGS were found in a vehicle in Swan Hill last weekend, police say.

Methamphetamine and green vegetable matter was found in a vehicle on Karinie Street about 1am on Sunday.

The female driver was arrested and interviewed.


Clothes stolen

TWO men are suspected of shoplifting at a Swan Hill business.

The pair entered the Campbell Street store and allegedly hid several pieces of clothing underneath their clothes before they left without paying.

They were identified and would be interviewed, police said.


Vandal suspect identified

POLICE have identified a male suspected of vandalising a wall at a Swan Hill school on Thursday last week.
