Sedan stolen

A LIGHT brown or silver Toyota Aur-ion was stolen from Ashton Street between 7pm last Tuesday and 4am the following morning by offenders, police said.

It’s possible the vehicle was involved in the theft of fuel in the Byrneside area later that day.


Blower burglary

A power blower and air compressor were removed from a building in Tresco, after the building was entered between 4.30pm Saturday and 6.30am the next day.


False report

A person has been found to be making false calls to emergency services, after police received calls to attend a number of incidents about 4.30pm on Sunday.

Making a false report is a serious offence, and those who do so can expect to be charged and face court.


Toilets graffitied

Public toilets in McCallum Street were damaged between 2pm last Thursday and 4am the following day.


Bag stolen

A victim has returned to discover her handbag missing from a park in Sea Lake between 10am and 10.30am last Tuesday. The bag was later found with about $200 cash missing.
