Online images: Police concerned about blackmail threats

SWAN Hill police say they are still seeing children, especially young teenagers, sharing intimate images of themselves with persons they have just met online.

Once these people have the images, a demand for cash can be made with the threat that the image will be distributed. It takes a lot of courage for young people to report such matters to parents and the police.
