Retail theft

STAFF of a Campbell Street clothing store allege they observed an offender placing something inside a large tote bag at 11:40am Friday, April 4.

When staff asked the offender and their companion to see their bags, one complied while the other only showed the inside for a brief moment before closing the bag.

The offender refused to allow staff a better look in their bag and walked out of the store.

Later, one of the offenders walked into the store and took an item from the from display before running off with it in her hand, making no attempts to pay.

The two alleged offenders are described as Caucasian females about 16-17 years old.

One was described as having blonde hair with brown roots tied in a bun, wearing a black jumper with blue sleeves, black baggy pants, white sneakers and carrying a large cream coloured tote bag.

The other is described as having long dark hair, wearing a black t-shirt and black flared leggings with white sneakers.
