Swan Hill under-16 boys to host Kyneton

THE Swan Hill soccer club’s under-16 boys’ team will be the only side in action on Saturday, with both the men’s and women’s teams both having the bye this weekend.

The under-16s will host Kyneton District SC at the Ken Harrison Reserve from 12pm Saturday afternoon. The Swans will enter the match as warm favourites and chasing their fourth win of the season, with regular players Jacob Thompson, Cal Croskery and Faizal Amran dropping back after all three performed well in the men’s teams 6-0 victory over Moama-Echuca last Saturday.

It will be the final game for the under-16s pre-qual competition, with the season reverting to a split competition following Saturday’s round of matches.
