THE Swan Hill Flyers will wrap up their 2022-23 Country Basketball League North West competition this weekend with a second double-header round of matches.
The Flyers will travel south to Maryborough, where both teams will be looking for strong performances against the Blazers. The Lady Flyers will be the first to take to the court, with tip-off scheduled for 5.30pm, before the men’s team takes centre stage at 7.30pm. While finals are out of the equation for Swan Hill, they can both have a significant say on the Maryborough Blazers’ finals hopes, with both teams sitting just inside the top four and playing their last games for the season.
Saturday night won’t be where the Flyers season ends however, as both teams travel up the road to take on the might of the Bendigo Braves at the Bendigo Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Flyers will get things under way against the undefeated Lady Braves at noon, before the men hit the court for their final match this season from 2pm.
