Dogs On The Hunt

Tyntynder are on the lookout for a new senior coach to take the reign’s next season after current senior coach Justin Ellis stepped down recently.

Last weekend was Ellis’s last game in charge of the Dogs, with their 48-point loss to cross town rivals Swan Hill seeing them knocked out of the finals race.

Ellis led Tyntynder for the past four seasons and will stay in the area and at the Dogs in 2022.

Roo’s Looking To Bounce Back

Ultima will have a new coaching structure next season in the Golden Rivers Football Netball League, with Kyle Symons confirmed to be leading the club next season.

Symons, who was co-coach this season with Brodie Bennett, will lead the Roo’s solo in 2022, after his appointment was confirmed during the week.

Bennett has decided to step away from the role he held since the 2019 season, with the former coach stepping away from football entirely next year.

Swans Re-Sign

Matt Wade and Darcy Ryan will continue as co-coaches for Swan Hill in 2022, after both re-signed recently.

Wade and Ryan have held the joint coach role this season and led the Swans into fifth on the ladder; and now await their Elimination Final against the Mallee Eagles.

2022 will be the third season both men have led Swan Hill, after being in charge of the Swans for the entire 2020 season due to the Covid pandemic.
