Pioneers go forth with training squads for 2022

THE Bendigo Pioneers have named their initial boys and girls training squads for next season’s NAB League Under-19 competitions, with thirteen Central Murray and Golden Rivers clubs represented.

From across north west and central Victoria there were 45 girls and 78 boys chosen, with both squads to be coached by Danny O’Bree.

Woorinen has a good showing with the girl’s squad, and for the boys, players were chosen from clubs such as Swan Hill, Lake Boga, Tyntynder, Woorinen and Balranald.

The girl’s squad will kick off their pre-season training on November 14, with their season set to start next January, while the boys will start training a fortnight later on November 28, with the start of their 2022 season to begin in late March next year.2022
