Central Murray: Woorinen v Koondrook-Barham

WOORINEN v KOONDROOK-BARHAM

WOORINEN will return to action fresh off the bye and with their eyes on a confidence-boosting win against the only team to not record a win so far in 2023, Koondrook-Barham.

The Raiders haven’t had the easiest of starts, playing three of the five finalists from last season, and it won’t be any easier against a Tigers outfit who have had a fortnight to mull over their disappointing loss to Balranald.

Dylan Godwin will return for the home side in a welcome boost to their forward half of the ground, however their back six will be slightly depleted with both Henry Thompson (ankle) and Mitch Taylor both expected to miss.

Ash Molin is expected to miss for Koondrook-Barham with concussion, after a sickening collision in his first senior game last Saturday.

While the Raiders are showing small signs of improvement, they are still a fair way off the likes of Woorinen, with the Tigers expected to record a win.

Tip – Woorinen to win by 54 points.
