A round 17 clash against Kerang will be the must-watch match between first and second, but Balranald will need to run out the season with three more wins if they want to knock Kerang off their perch. Just one more win from the three remaining matches would likely ensure second position.

3RD: WOORINEN

REMAINING MATCHES: Koondrook-Barham (A), Lake Boga (H), Kerang (A)

Woorinen will be eased into their final two games with a match against struggling Koondrook-Barham, before facing the ladder’s other bookend Kerang in their final game. A double chance still looks likely for the Tigers but Lake Boga and NNW United will be chasing.

4TH: LAKE BOGA

Coming into form at the right time, the Magpies face a tough next two rounds. A win against Balranald or Woorinen is imperative to holding fourth position. A win in their last round may be important for percentage.

5TH: NNW UNITED

PERCENTAGE: 130.41

REMAINING MATCHES: Tooleybuc-Manangatang (A), Mallee Eagles (H), BYE

With the bye in the final round, NNW United will be keen to wrap up a finals spot in the next two games. Faced with two sides without finals hopes, the Demons should get the job done but may have to rely on results to go in their favour.

6TH: COHUNA KANGAS

7TH: SWAN HILL

A tough run home for the Swans as they end the season against the second-placed Roos. A round 17 grudge match against Tyntynder could be a difference-maker for Swan Hill if they want to play on this year.
