Got the job done against the Mallee Eagles last Saturday to lock in second spot, despite the win also costing them gun onballer Joel Helman. Are still a sneaky chance to finish first but require Woorinen to falter. Should finish the season with seven consecutive wins and take genuine momentum into this year’s finals series.


3rd – Mallee Eagles

Round 17 – v Balranald @ Home

Round 18 – v Tyntynder @ Away

Blew their chance at keeping their top five hopes alive after their loss to Cohuna. The Eagles finish the season with a couple of soft lead-in games, which should help boost their confidence.


4th – NNW United

Played – 15, Wins – 10, Losses – 5, Points – 40, Percentage – 134.34

Round 17 – v Tyntynder @ Home

Round 18 – Bye

Are now guaranteed of a finals finish and will lock in fourth place if they beat Tyntynder tomorrow in their final home-and-away game of the season. Will enjoy the week off next Saturday in what is effectively a pre-finals bye, which couldn’t have come at a better time considering they will have to win every game to progress through the finals this season.


5th – Tooleybuc-Manangatang

Played – 14, Wins – 8, Losses – 6, Points – 32, Percentage – 114.07

Round 17 – v Koondrook-Barham @ Home

Round 18 – v Woorinen @ Away

Massive percentage booster against Swan Hill last Saturday has seen the Saints climb above the Raiders. Finishes the season with two massive games, the highlight of which will be tomorrow’s season defining clash against the Raiders. No guarantees a win tomorrow gets them in, as they will be sweating heavily on the outcome of the Raiders v Swans game next weekend.


6th – Koondrook-Barham

Round 17 – v Tooleybuc-Manangatang @ Away

Round 18 – v Swan Hill @ Home

Have now missed two opportunities to seal a top five berth and lost them both. Win tomorrow’s game against Tooleybuc-Manangatang and they are all but locked into finals, lose and the long suffering Koondrook-Barham faithful will need to pull out all the stops in the final round.
