ROUND 2 of Swan Hill Table Tennis produced some exciting results, with Bakker & Glen moving to the top of the Beck Legal Ladder with a convincing 7/4 win over Kunat Thunder in A Grade.
Jovenar again won his three singles matches while for the vanquished, Doctor Lachlan Carroll won two.
Violi Finance cemented their second place on the ladder with a smashing 8/3 win over Morpeth Farms.
Up and comer Tayte Tants won two matches and born again superstar Brett Armstrong won all three of his singles matches.
A shattered Glen Evans tried valiantly for his team, but won his sides only two singles rubbers.
R&J Joinery’s Natalie Whateley wound the clock back playing outstanding table tennis, with her clever spin and crunching forehand giving her side the advantage.
But just when all hope looked gone for Pooles Accounting, the unfashionable Michael Shean beat young Joe Pino three sets to two and set up 6/5 win, with his teammates chairing him out of the stadium knowing wins like this don’t come along very often.

The upset of the round was Advanced Packaging defeating PDF Accounting 6/5, with Gayle Williams the stand out for the winners, while Chaz Talboys again won his three singles matches.
