A “STRIKING” portrait of an 18-year-old woman has been found at the Big Green Shed Swan Hill recycling depot.
The black and white portrait with a cardboard backing was found by Swan Hill resident Cheryl Bailey inside a large pink, black and white gift bag on October 29.
“It was inside a bag full of all sorts of differently-sized bags, originally I thought it was a plain piece of cardboard but when I pulled it out, that’s what I got,” Ms Bailey told The Guardian.
“It’s of such a beautiful looking girl, who is quite striking and perhaps somebody has cleaned out their house and hasn’t realised what they had.”
On the back of the portrait are the words: Clara Butler (nee Jary) 18 years old.
