SWAN Hill children have the chance to tell Santa exactly what they want for Christmas.
With the magic of Christmas just around the corner, the Swan Hill post office has invited local children to practice their letter writing by posting their wish lists all the way to the North Pole.
Letters sent by Santa mail before the end of today will even receive a personalised reply from Santa Claus himself, before Christmas Day.
Swan Hill postal manager Peter Warburton encouraged local children to seize the opportunity to write to the jolly man in red.
“Santa mail is an engaging way for children to learn how to write and address letters, while at the same time creating magic and excitement for the kids as they send their wish list to Santa in the North Pole, track its delivery and wait to receive Santa’s reply,” Mr Warburton said.
To take part, children from Swan Hill can send their letters and wishlists to Santa, North Pole, 9999 with a Christmas stamp on the front of the envelope and their name and return address on the back so Santa knows where to send his reply.
Santa mail letters can be placed in the dedicated Santa mailbox at the Swan Hill post office or any red street post box.
