Man dies in road crash near Lake Charm

A 62-year-old Altona Meadows man died in a single-vehicle crash near Lake Charm on Saturday afternoon.

“He was travelling towards Kerang on the Murray Valley Highway near Lake Charm and has veered off on to the right-hand side of the road, collided with a sign on the edge of the gravel shoulder and then collided into trees before coming to rest further along the roadside reserve,” Sergeant Tony Keely of Kerang police said.

The man was driving a Mitsubishi SUV and towing a trailer.
