FRIDAY

6.30pm: Variety Bash 2023 Car 33 and Swan Hill Specialist School trivia and games night at Racecourse Bowls Club.

Great prizes. Quiz starts at 7pm. Bring your own snacks, drinks are at bar prices. Tickets $15 per person. Tables of eight, bookings essential.

SATURDAY

8am: Lake Boga Foreshore parkrun is a free, fun and friendly weekly 5km course. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. It’s free, but register before your first run. More details at www.parkrun.com.au/lakebogaforeshore.

9am-noon: Anglican Boot Sale and Cottage Craft at the Anglican Function Centre. A large variety of stalls including books, household items, craft, fruit, honey, plants and vegetables. Barbecue and Joan’s scones.

All day: Central Murray Football Netball League round 12 (Road Safety Round) – Tyntynder v Woorinen, Cohuna v Koondrook-Barham, NNW United v Lake Boga, Mallee Eagles v Kerang, Tooleybuc-Manangatang v Swan Hill. Balranald has the bye.

SUNDAY

10am-noon: Repair Cafe. Sharing the lost art of repairing, by donation. Volunteers help to repair household items. Learn new skills and avoid items going to landfill. Email repaircafe@shnh.org.au for more details.

11am: Lake Boga Park and Brag in the main street of Lake Boga. Park up from 11am. Just a gathering of like-minded people who want to show off their toys. Anything with a rumble; cars, bikes, trucks, tractors anything with an engine is welcome.

2pm-6pm: Winter Twilight Arts Market at Swan Hill Town Hall. Stalls inside the auditorium, an exhibition on the mezzanine level, entertainment on stage, food to be enjoyed inside or rug up and sit outside under the fairy lights. A creative activity for all generations and more. For more details, contact the Dandy Lion Studio.

2.30pm: Swan Hill Genealogical and Historical Society July meeting at Swan Hill Regional Library. Enter by the rear door only. Speaker is member Marg Scala on Betsy Trewhella, whose story, Over the Log, is about her memories and experiences when left alone in Cornwall and then coming to Australia with three children.

3pm: Bingo at Swan Hill RSL Club.

JULY 17

7.30pm: Swan Hill Rock ‘n’ Roll Club at Murray Downs Golf and Country Club.

JULY 18

9.30am for 10am: Social bowls at Nyah. Names in by 9.30am for 10am start. $10 per person includes lunch.

JULY 19

1pm-4pm: Swan Hill Crafty Critters drawing, painting, card making, knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, digital art, creative writing and so much more.

JULY 20

11.30am: Bingo at Tooleybuc Sporting Club.

6pm-8pm: Barefoot bowls at Tooleybuc Sporting Club. Names in by 5.45pm on the night or message Danielle on 0403 548 149. Open to all ages and abilities, finger food provided. Wear flat shoes, thongs or bare feet. No experience necessary.

JULY 21

7.30pm-10pm: Stand-up comedy at One28 Doors with Brett Blake, supporting acts Patti Fawcett, Andrew Portelli. Hosted by Ash Greblo. Tickets $50 available online at www.eventbrite.com.au.
