Demand for farms

Good seasonal forecasts have resulted in sudden demand for rural farming properties across the region, according to local real estate agents.

This trend is widespread according to BR&C real estate agent, Peter Maher.

He said he had also noticed increased demand for farming property and said at present there was not enough supply to meet the demand.

“There is a strong demand at the moment for grazing properties but there isn’t much variety out there,” Mr Maher said.
